Frequently Asked Questions
What’s this “Viral Video Film School”?
Viral Video Film School, or VVFS, is a online edutainment show hosted by Professor Brett Erlich about how to create proper viral videos.
So, what’s the point of this blog?
Ever stayed up until 3AM trying to find out what kind of stunt cat is the best for your twelve page paper due tomorrow morning?
What about that time you were struggling to find the information on the thought patterns of bears for your thesis that’s due in ten minutes?
Maybe you found out that you’re having a pop quiz on what constitutes a “redneck roller coaster” and class is in five minutes?
Well, neither have I. I could go on about how I created this blog in order to help in the war against good and evil with Al Gore, Bender, and Brett. To save everyone time, I’ll give the TV Guide version:
I created this blog to serve as a breakdown of every lesson of Viral Video Film School, ranging from the virals used, lessons we learned, wall things, and any fun facts along the way. We serve to answer the question - Where did Brett find that video?
Okay, why didn’t you do all the lessons yet?
Well, keep a few things in mind.
- For every video of a redneck roller coaster, a thousand more exist. That means it takes a while to find the exact one that Brett used.
- Brett has been doing VVFS ever since 2006. He has done so many lessons, you’ll crap when you see how many.
- I am very busy building stabby-hand whatevers.
Why for some of the videos I see “CURRENTLY RESEARCHING”?
Remember when I said that for every redneck rollercoaster video shown on VVFS, there’s a thousand more like it? Well, generally, whenever I found at least 90% of the videos used within that episode, I’ll just post it so SOMETHING exists. If you know the source of a video labeled “CURRENTLY RESEARCHING”, feel free to contact me.
Does Brett know of your blog?
He does and he wants to hump me.
Who runs this site and how can I contact them?
The cheat sheet is run by Teaching Assistant HermanoBluth, a.k.a. Andrew.
I am on tumblr, and you can contact me at andrew@vvfscheatsheet.com
